Situation Vacant: Marketing Coordinator and Event Support Role
Work for the best seaside village in New Zealand!

Contract role. 15-20 hours per week, primarily Monday to Friday.

Guided by our Annual Marketing Plan and working closely with our Community Coordinator this busy town promotion role encompasses projects that vary year on year. Primary responsibilities include campaign execution, social media management, event promotion, event support, and website management.

Strong written communication skills are essential as you will be preparing content for a range of digital and print media. Graphic design skills are not essential, but an eye for good design is key, as you will also be creating and/or curating visual content on a regular basis.

While a marketing qualification is not essential, if you have proven experience with social media, events, content management, and website management, we would love to hear from you. Public relations experience, graphic design skills, or an understanding of WordPress would be a plus.

Flexible hours to be undertaken between 9am-5pm over 2-5 days Mon-Fri, with occasional weekend and evening work involved. An ideal position for parents of school aged children. Immediate start.
